About our speakers

Sheena​ Peeters, General Manager ‑ Technology at HESTA.

Sheena is a technology and digital leader with transformation experience across a wide range of industries. Today, she works as the General Manager of Technology for HESTA.  She oversees the technology business, digital infrastructure and innovations for an industry super fund focused on the financial wellbeing and retirement outcomes of our frontline workers.

Sheena has a real passion for solving problems that improve the lives of people by challenging the status quo, innovation and embracing the art of the hustle to harness what’s possible.

Katrina​ Waghorne, General Manager – Digital at HESTA

Katrina is the General Manager of Digital at HESTA. She prides herself on having a positive attitude, balanced with a well-honed reality check reflex and an “always-on” learning capability.  She is not afraid of challenging conversations and believes that every conversation should be an opportunity to laugh out loud. 

Kate Bushell, Founder and CEO at Girls of Impact

Kate is the Founder of Girls of Impact and is passionate about inspiring the next generation of change makers and leaders.  Since the beginning of Girls of Impact, her goal has been to empower young women and support them in entering careers they love.  She loves teaching, inspiring and mentoring young women and providing career pathways for women to positively impact the world.
